Nuclear Waste Services is looking for a Digital & IT Business Partner to join its business team flexible working from Harwell, Oxfordshire.
As part of this role, the Digital and IT Business Partner will work within the Digital Strategy & Architecture team to engage with aligned business functions to ensure that requirements and requests are correctly interpreted and accurately delivered. You will build a strategic relationship with the business to co-create a future digital and IT roadmap, shape and own the delivery of change projects, ensure business adoption and benefit realisation and the delivery of services in line with agreed business need.
- Act as strategic relationship holder for aligned lines of business or enabling functions, forging strong relationships, and ensuring digital and IT needs are understood and articulated in an agreed roadmap
- Build a strong understanding of business need and processes, helping to identify opportunities for improvement and digital transformation
- Be the positive voice of Digital and IT when interfacing with lines of business / enabling functions
- Work with the functional areas to ensure that business and IT budgets are aligned
- Support the business with the creation of solution concepts and business cases, working with them to prioritise appropriately
- Shape and own resulting Digital and IT projects ensuring alignment of requirements, plans and implementation activities
- Ensure business benefits and business change and training plans are appropriately understood, planned for and realised
- Work with functional areas to overcome resistance to change, and adoption of new working models enabled by digital and technology change
- Develop, deliver and manage communication, stakeholder, training engagement plans
- Manage own area of Acceptance into Service
Essential
- Effective Stakeholder Management across all different levels of Business from End Users through to Senior Exec Leadership

- Experience of working with business leaders on the development of transformation and IT strategy

- Comprehends detailed technical updates and able to translate them into understandable insights for non-technical teams
- Solid Understanding of Business Readiness Activities to enable successful transition to new ways of working
- Understanding of Digital/ICT programme assurance processes and value for money assessments
