Nuclear Waste Services has a vacancy for an experienced HR Business Analyst/ Manager to join the team flexible working from one of its offices across the UK.
As part of this role, you will be responsible for managing and analyzing HR data and providing insights to support business decision-making processes. You will be responsible for managing data integrity, quality, reporting, and process improvement as well as leveraging data to drive strategic HR initiatives. You will be supporting across the HR Function and will be the primary contact for both internal and external standard and ad hoc reporting requirements.
This role requires a blend of technical expertise, analytical skills, and HR system/reporting knowledge to ensure the efficient and effective use of HR data.
System Management
- Manage and maintain HR data in the relevant system(s) ensuring data integrity and reporting functionality.
- Educate the wider team and business on data integrity using specialist knowledge relating toto our DataMart Data Warehouse (DataMart) and Power BI project
- Collaborate with the wider Performance Analyst group to share best practice on DataMart and Power BI related processes and improvements.
- Managedata interfaces with our systems as required (including Docebo Learning Management System (LMS), Hireserve Applicant Tracking System (ATS)).
- Manage and monitor accuracy of areas from data management/entering standards, reporting, hierarchy’s, processes, training and guidance for the HR team, employees and key stakeholders within NWS
Data Integrity and Reporting
- Generate and analyse reports to support the HR department and wider business with decision making and compliance reporting.
- Use HR data to determine trends which will enable identification of business and engagement issues allowing for early intervention and proactive action.
- Provide data insights and analytics to HR leadership, informing strategic planning and HR initiatives making recommendations on suggested approaches
- Lead and be fully responsible for all routine, cyclical and ad hoc reporting needs for HR and related data across NWS.
Essential
- Proficiency in HR software and related software tools
- Excellent data management and analytical skills, with the ability to generate meaningful reports, insights and identify trends in business-related data to drive action.
- Demonstrable experience of system reporting functionality (with experience of iTrent highly desirable).
- Knowledge and experience of data analytics programmes, ideally Power BI.
- Digital literacy with strong experience of Microsoft Office suite and apps (particularly Microsoft Excel).
- A good understanding of HR life cycle processes and best practices, including payroll, benefits administration, and employee lifecycle management.
- Able to effectively prioritise and work to tight deadlines, providing excellent work in a pressurised environment.
