Women in Nuclear UK (WiN UK) is thrilled to announce the launch of our exciting new initiative, Mindset to Lead—a paid-for pilot training programme in partnership with Mindset Practice.
The programme focuses on building the right leadership mindset, a critical factor in helping women move into senior roles.
Currently, only 13% of senior leadership positions in the nuclear industry are held by women. This stark statistic highlights the significant gender disparity that WiN UK is determined to address, closing the leadership gap and equipping women with the skills and support they need to succeed.
“This cutting-edge programme marks an important step in our long-term strategy to empower women in the nuclear industry and help them break through the barriers preventing their advancement into senior leadership roles,” said WiN UK Strategy Director Leanne Cowie.
The initiative will provide tailored support and resources to help women unlock their leadership potential and thrive in today’s dynamic workplace.
Through psychometric feedback, group coaching and interaction and connection with other women in nuclear, participants will build awareness of those ‘Growth or Survival’ habits and create a toolkit to drive meaningful impact within their organisations.
