Nuclear Waste Services has 2 vacancies for Commercial and Procurement Apprentice's to join our Commercial function at Nuclear Waste Services on 30 month Fixed Term Contract!

The successful candidates will rotate between Procurement, Contract Management and PSSR Departments across the length of the apprenticeship. This is a fantastic opportunity to start your career in Commercial, giving the opportunity to gain experience in the full contract lifecycle. 

Roles and Responsibilities

As a Commercial and Procurement Apprentice, the type of activities the apprenticeship will be involved with will include:

  • Supporting on production of Strategy documents
  • Invitation to Tender
  • Pricing Templates
  • Contract Management Plans
  • Monitoring Key Performance Indicators
  • Attending Contract Management Reviews
  • Production of reports
  • Supply chain reviews
  • Commercial Continuous Improvement Assessment Framework
  • Commercial Dashboard Reporting
Experience Required

Typically candidates will have achieved grade 4 or above in at least five GCSE’s including English and Maths and have:

  • Good written skills
  • Good communication and listening skills  
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Good time management
  • Demonstrate Proactiveness
