Nuclear Transport Solutions are looking for a Fitter Field Support to join their team in Motherwell.
As part of this role, you will efficiently implement preventive maintenance regimes, carry out modifications and competently diagnose and repair faults on rail asset whilst demonstrating safe compliant working practices and excellent housekeeping on all DRS and non-DRS operated facilities.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Successfully, competently, and efficiently undertake and ensure the maintenance of rail assets is carried out in line with policy, procedure and current Rail industry standards.
- Accurately and efficiently complete any required maintenance records and documentation to a good level of detail.
- Carry out modifications and repairs as required in accordance with Instructions and relevant procedures.
- Provide on call support when rostered and when requested be available to attend any out of course incidents with a view to providing on scene technical support, repairs, and advice.
- Ensure complete understanding of and abide by all safety notices, maintenance and technical bulletins, rules, and regulations.
- Ensure high standards of housekeeping and compliance are maintained in line with safe systems of working and company policies.
- Undertake designated Person’s duties as requested by the Team Leader or Depot Manager
Procedures:
- All relevant Engineering Procedures relating to Asset Maintenance, Asset Repair, Depot Protection, Housekeeping, Risk and COSHH assessments, MOW, Maximo
